Recycling art experiments into found object doodles
Instead of throwing out my art experiment rejects, I'm cutting them up and using them in found object doodles. More excuse to experiment! :-)

Jeff was chopping wood and this odd-shaped bit flew off. He gave it to me for a doodle, of course.
Trying out Derwent Inktense Blocks for the first time. I already have Derwent's water-soluble pencils but am intrigued by the different techniques you can use with the blocks. Plus I've always hating colouring, and the blocks make that bit easier and more fun.
Tried out Instagram's video for the first time. Like Vine, you have to press the record button in the app while recording. This makes me tough to draw at the same time, so apologies for the slightly shaky camera. :-) I had to do several takes before this one as a result, since earlier takes had part of the drawing off-screen!
Edit: Duh, I just found out that you CAN upload videos to Instagram!
