Cats could rule the world

I took the photo above on my iPhone during my get-together with Allison and Jodi last night. We were doing prep for our Filk Waif duties at FilKONtario. Allison's cat Kara was doing her best to distract us.

In the photo above, Jodi was trying to take notes during a brainstorming session, but Kara kept butting her head under Jodi's hands while Jodi was trying to type, digging her claws into her leg.

I'm allergic to cats, but I think Kara got impatient with waiting for me to recognize how irresistably cute she was. After getting attention from Jodi, Kara leaped over to me and pushed her head under MY hand, etc. Darn cat...I did cave and couldn't help but scratch her head a little, though I had to wash my hands afterward.

Cats are SUCH good manipulators. If they ever decide to team up with the squirrels, they could so easily take over the world.

Cats have already taken over the world- who are you kidding? :) Nice gig, getting -other- creatures to go out and work every day to keep you in the life of which you're accustomed- eating, sleeping, lying in the sun, being scritched. Paul's written a song about that.

What she said! They just love us for our thumbs.

I'm having a hard time seeing the cat. Maybe because Jodi is also wearing black so that people don't see the black cat hair on her. :)

I'm convinced that cats have us trained.

As the saying goes: dogs have owners, cats have staff. But only because they need someone with opposable thumbs to manage the can opener.

Ever wonder what do cats do on their day off? They can't sit around and do nothing all day, that's their job!
