Q. Would you do a custom illustration for me?

While I very occasionally take on freelance illustration assignments if they sound like fun, these days my book project schedule keeps me very busy.

Q. But what about your Daily Doodles? Couldn't you just whip one up just for me? Or could I use one of your Daily Doodles?

My answer: The purpose of my Daily Doodles are to make sure I keep drawing for the pure fun of it. Drawing for fun is VERY different from drawing to someone else's spec (the latter is work).

Having said that, however, some of my Daily Doodles may turn into book projects or characters in books someday. For that reason, I'm leery about licensing out these images.

If you truly have fallen in love with any of the images and really want to use it for a project not related to children's books, however, feel free to inquire about licensing fees. To do this, please use my Contact Form and select "I am inquiring about using one of your comics or another image."

And again...thank you for your interest in my work!
