Found-Object Doodle: "Teeth"
I'm starting to play around with ink and found objects in my daily doodles, and am posting them on Instagram as well as a "Ink and Found Object" Flickr gallery.

The Toronto Star recommended I'M BORED as a Hanukkah gift (yay!) so I was inspired to add a Hanukkah-themed gift card to my growing list of gift card templates.
At an Illustrators' Lost Weekend with David Diaz a few years ago, I was fascinated by how David sometimes uses old postcards and magazine pages as canvases for his sketches. Love this idea.
I've been doing a lot more sketching lately to help keep my line loose and to make sure I don't get too "precious" about my drawing. I took advantage of a sale at my local art supplies store but am also starting to use more found objects as my canvases in an effort to save costs.
In addition to posting some of my sketches here, I've also started posting in my Creative Play Sketches set on Flickr.
