Hi Debbie,
I just wanted to say thanks for the detailed info regarding how you were selected to illustrate for the book "I'm Bored." Your whimsical personality stands out through your writing. I decided that I may join the writer's group after reading your blog. I am a writer. I just completed a nonfiction adult book, which was read by Bill McKeen, author of many books, most recent "Mile Marker Zero." Yes, I am lucky enough to know him since he was one of my j-school professors at UF. I wrote many children's book as well. He's read one since I only sent him one children's book: "Two of Everything: Here and There" and he said it's very good.
Again thanks for your blog. I am a little more motivated to get my books published now.
Thanks,
Najah J. Aboud
